Windows 7 Installation auf Lenovo E460 Thinkpad mit USB Stick

Hallo erstmal,

Ich versuche jetzt schon etwas länger Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit auf einem Lenovo E460 Thinkpad mit einem USB Stick zu installieren.
Was nicht meine eigene Idee war, sondern die von meinem Ausbilder, um mir den Unterschied der Benutzerfreundlichkeit zwischen Windows 10 und 7 zu zeigen.
Am Anfang hatte ich das Problem das die Installation immer angezeigt hat das keine CD-DVD Laufwerk treiber installiert sind.
Weil Windows 7 die USB 3 Ports nicht erkannte (das Thinkpad hat nur USB 3 Ports und kein CD-DVD Laufwerk) habe ich dann mit DISM GUI.exe die USB 3 Treiber in die Image Datei eingefügt und konnte so die Installation beenden.
Das Problem was ich jetzt noch habe, ist das kein USB Stick nach der Installation erkannt wird und im Geräte Manager immer ein Fehler angezeigt wird.
Windows 7 Treibersoftware aktualisieren, Deinstallieren und Neustarts haben nichts gebracht.
Hatte auch schon andere USB Treiber Installiert aber auch keinen Erfolg gehabt.

Ich hoffe es kann mir jemand weiterhelfen.

les mal die Hardware ID des USB Controllers aus und google mal explizit danach.
So bekommste auch den Chipsatz des USB Controllers heraus und kannst dann so nach Treibern suchen.

die E-Reihe ist etwas problematischer.

(Ich würde für solche Fälle immer ein ext. USB DVD Laufwerk nehmen. Wo alte SW auf neue, überspezifische HW gebracht werden soll.)

Bzw die ISO mit RUFUS auf einen UEFI Stick installieren.

Lade dir rufus von rufus.ie runter.

Denn die meisten anderen Tools verwenden noch MBR.
Und es MUSS der sichere Start deaktiviert werden!!
Diese neuen Sachen kann W7 nicht face-smile

Ach ja, es MUSS auch die x64 ISO vers. sein.

PS:
Vorraussichtlich die nächsten 2-3 Jahre wird man immer wieder noch W7 Fälle bekommen...

  6. Click the Driver tab.
  7. Check Driver Version.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Manual Install

  This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.

  Downloading file
  1. Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up
     windows will appear.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. In the window to choose Run or Save, click Save.
  4. Choose the folder you would like to download the file to and click Save.
     A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete.
     Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating
     that the download completed successfully.

  Extracting file
  5. Make sure to be logged on with an administrator account.
  6. Locate the folder where the file was downloaded.
  7. Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
  8. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  9. In the Select Destination Location window, click Next. If you would like to
     select a different folder, click Browse.
 10. In the Ready to Install window, click Install. All the necessary files will
     be extracted to the folder selected in the step 9.

  Installing files
 11. Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is checked and click
     Finish.
 12. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart
     the computer.

  Finally delete the file saved in the step 4.

Unattended Install

  This is for system administrators' use only.

  1. Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and extract the file.
  2. In the step 11 of the Installing files section, uncheck the checkbox next
     to "Install ..... now", and then click Finish to cancel installation.
  3. At the command line, execute setup.exe with the -s option.

Hallo und vielen Dank für die Antworten.
Ich habe den Fehler gefunden.
Ich hatte mit Hilfe eines Tutorials und DISM GUI die Treiber in die Image Datei eingefügt und mit Rufus einen USB Stick erstellt.

Was ich aber vorher nicht wusste ist, das die Windows 7 iso vier Windows 7 Versionen enthält.
Home, Home Premium, Professional und Ultimate.
Laut dem Tutorial sollte ich nur Index 1 und 2 der boot.wim und Index 1 der install.wim bearbeiten.
Da Index 1 der install.wim aber für Windows 7 Home war und ich aber Windows 7 Professional installieren wollte, konnte es ja auch nicht richtig funktionieren.

Da weiss ich das einfache installieren von Windows 10 jetzt echt zu schätzen.
