NetApp DS2246 - Bootet nicht korrekt

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe aktuell eine Herausforderung mit einer NetApp DS2246 die nicht mehr korrekt booten will.

Kann mir vielleicht jemand Unterstützung geben, um die NetApp wieder zum Rennen zu bekommen?

Per Konsole bekomme ich beim Einschalten des Geräts folgende Ausgabe.

Auf Grund der Meldungen im Log würde ich sagen Platten defekt und er findet sein root-Volume nicht. Was man da tun kann weiss ich leider nicht, aber frag doch mal google nach "netapp ds2246 + localhost:raid.assim.tree.noRootVol:error]: No usable root volume was found".
Da kommt sowas bei rum, was mir ähnlich zu deinem Problem ausschaut: https://community.netapp.com/t5/FAS-and-V-Series-Storage-Systems-Discuss ...

Und natürlich das was Penny sagt, NetApp-Support...

das DS2246 ist nur ein Shelf bzw. JBOD.
Das System selbst müsste eine FAS2220 oder 2240 sein.

Hier wurde kein Root Aggregate gefunden. Dieses liegt normalerweise verteilt über einem kleinen Teil aller im Controllergehäuse installierten Disks.

Sprich: Du musst Ontap neu installieren.

:edit: Ich nehme an, du hast alles korrekt verkabelt? Speziell die SAS Kabel?

wahrscheinlich zu spät - aber mit boot_ontap sollte es gehen face-wink

EDIT: Und mit dem System scheint etwas nicht zu stimmen - entweder zu viele Platten defekt oder das Root-Aggregat defekt. In dem Fall über das Boot-Menü das System neu aufsetzen.
